Portmeirion Pottery Changes
Portmeirion Pottery makes regular changes
to its exsisting ranges throughout the year and we include this
information on the diary pages as it becomes available. This information
covers changes, retirements and new items in Botanic Garden, Pomona,
Dusk, Holly and Ivy, Splat etc. Sometimes the changes take effect
without any prior warning, this is especially true of changes
in motifs in Botanic Garden and Pomona. Please bear this in mind

New Patterns from Portmeirion
Pottery
As well as changes to exsisting patterns Portmeirion
launch new patterns throughout the year and we will preview them
first here. At the beginning of 2005 the new patterns Botanic
Roses, Damson and Apple Harvest are already due to join the exsisting
Portmeirion ranges and pictures can be viewed below.

Flowers
of the Month
Portmeirion have
launched a new range of gift-boxed Teacups and Saucers each depicting
a different flower for each month of the year. This attractive
and clever gift idea is sure to prove a winner and is launched
in perfect timing for Christmas. It is sure to be a massive success,
all we need to find out is : Has Portmeirion Made them in sufficient
quantities to meet demand?.
The Cups and Saucers will be added to the site during November
2005.

Pie Dish
The Pie dish
was originally launched as part of the Apple Harvest Range. The
piece proved so popular with both customers and retailers it has
now been introduced into Botanic Garden, Pomona and Dusk Cookware
ranges. This is a really attractive piece and we highly recommend
a look.

Portmeirion have
launched a range of bakeware with glass lids. These casseroles
or bakers are both attractive and practical and are a much needed

Portmeirion have
launched a new range of China Mugs. The designs are extremely
varied and there should be something to suit every taste from
the Traditional to the very modern

Pomona
Handpainted Glassware
We would like
to apologise for all those customers who have been waiting for
Handpainted Glass, especially in Pomona. Portmeirion doesn't expect
to have stocks until December. As with all products not made by
the company itself the organisation for the chain of supply is
.........well, bizarre. We can only apologise and try and remind
Portmeirion that Christmas is always on the 25th December a fact
that sometimes seems to slip their mind.
Amethyst
Bubble Glass
Portmeirion have
taken the controvercial decision to retire the Amethyst Bubble
Glass Range. This popular glassware has been one of our consistant
best selars so we are quite shocked that the product has been
retired. One can only guess that continued problems with the supply
chain is the main reason but we will be sorry to see the end of
this stylish and contemporary glass. We can also expect that the
Cobalt Blue Bubble Glass is likely to suffer the same fate

Delays to
orders
Botanic Roses
and Splat are the two most up and coming patterns in the new Portmeirion
ranges and so true to form the demand is outreaching production
at Portmeirion. If you would like to order Botanic Roses or Splat
mugs please be patient over any delays, these really are beyond
our control.

Apple
Harvest 
New items are
beginning to arrive in stock. Botanic Roses and Apple Harvest
are due in stock by the second week in March. Information like
this from Portmeirion should always be taken with a pinch of salt
but we are confident that the products should be with us by the
end of the month. In anticipation we have now included both ranges
on the shopping pages. Please bear in mind though, if you include
items from either range in an order that order will be delayed
until the new items are ready to ship.

2005 The majority of
both Botanic Roses and Apple Harvest are now in stock and available
to order. Any items we are still waiting for are shown as available
soon and we expect to receive these missing pieces in the next
week or so.

Textiles 
Splat Textiles
are now available. We can highly recommend the textiles, being
of good quality and excellent design. This collection is going
to prove popular as Splat goes from strength to strength. There
have been some production problems with a couple of the mug designs
and we apologise for anyone who has had to wait. To visit the

Gift
Wrapping
We hope to
improve the gift-wrapping service in 2005. We would like to continue
to offer giftwrapping free of charge and are currently examining
various options. We have found that conventional wrapping and
decoration of packages is not suited to shipped items as it crushes
easily owing to the amout of packaging required. We are currently
experimenting with ribbon, feathers, fluff etc and hope to have
come up with a solution in the near future. If you have any ideas

from March 2005. This range can be collected as both a stand alone
range or can be introduced as a new fruit into the exsisting Pomona
Collection.

Damson
Another new
introduction which will complement Pomona is the new Damson motif.
Initially intended to to be a small tableware collection in its
on right, this new succulent motif is tipped to replace Plum in
the main Pomona range.
